Unfortunately, I do not accept returns. However, I try my best to ensure the quality and condition of all the cards that I send out. I am also transparent if you would like to inquire about any further details of the card, its condition, or any potential flaws.
On District, I have a great shipping deal: $5 for your first purchase and then everything free after that, whether it's a thick cardboard stock envelope or a whole box of cards. Some higher end cards even have free shipping!
On eBay, I will use the eBay standard shipping for around $1.45 for lower-end singles and bubble mailers with tracking ($4-5) for almost everything else.
I never ship in plain white envelopes. I don't want to take the risk of your card(s) getting destroyed in a mail sorting machine. While this means shipping is never less than $1.50 or $2 for a single in any circumstance, it also means that I can reasonably protect your cards so that they have the best chance of arriving intact.
Yes! Of course. Please feel free to interact with me on Twitter/X (@baseballcadre), Instagram (@baseballcadre) or send me an email at steve@baseballcadre.com
The short answer is yes. I will generally buy cards that fit my PCs. I will also gladly take a look at any cards you would like to sell. However, for cards outside my PC, I am generally looking for short print or serial numbered cards; autographed cards; vintage (1910s-1960s) cards; professionally graded cards; or rare card editions.
You should be aware that most collectors (or those who inherit collections from family or friends) greatly overestimate the value of their cards. Cards from the 1980s and 1990s in particular were overproduced, so they retain little value (even cards of well-known superstar players from this era). See: What is the "Junk Wax Era"?
I can not guarantee that your cards will be worth anything or that I will want to buy them. But I am happy to take a look!
I do not have a lot of experience with card consignment, but I am happy to work with you and give it a shot!
I sometimes acquire professionally graded cards. When I sell them, they are usually listed on my District or eBay stores.
No, I almost exclusively focus on baseball. Sometimes I get my hands on basketball or American football cards, but rarely the quantity or quality that can be reliably listed for sale.
